Timken® Type E Housed 4 Bolt Pillow Bearing Units: Timken E series housings with pre-fitted back to back sealed taper roller bearings and seals. Designed to strengthen the performance of your equipment with industry-leading premium tapered roller bearings. The housings are ASTM A48 Grade 30 cast iron with an electro-deposition coating (E-coating) providing better corrosion resistance than the industry standard powder coatings.
The units all have High-Performance Seals fitted as standard and help to lower maintenance costs with optimized lip contact to improve grease retention and drastically reduce ingress of contamination and moisture compared to other leading brands designs. (Seven times more effective preventing water ingress compared to competitors designs and 40 percent more effective in preventing mud and salt slurry ingress compared to competitors designs).
