KTR Rotex 55 Large GG25 Cast Iron Hub ?18mm Pilot Bore Max Bore 74mm

Rotex GG25 Cast Iron Large Pilot Bored Hub: Jaw coupling hubs are used in a wide variety of power transmission applications where torque needs to be transferred between two rotating shafts, such as a motor and gearbox or a motor and a pump. Working together with a flexible spider, they transmit torque reliably while the spider absorbs shock, vibration, and small amounts of shaft misalignment, helping protect connected equipment. This Rotex hub is manufactured from GG25 grey cast iron, a robust and dimensionally stable material that offers good strength, natural vibration damping, and excellent value, making it a popular choice for general industrial drives. The large hub design provides extra material around the bore, allowing it to accommodate larger shaft diameters than a standard hub while giving a stronger, more secure shaft connection. Supplied with a pilot bore, the hub has a small pre-machined centre bore that acts as an accurate starting point for finish boring, making it quicker and easier to machine to your exact requirements, including metric or imperial bores, keyways and set-screw positions, while helping to maintain concentricity for smooth, well-balanced running.
Benefits: Natural vibration damping, pilot-bored, large hub design
